Extreme Wave

Are you looking for maximum control and fun even on extreme waves? No problem at all. Drops Quads will satisfy everyone and every request. The boards have been developed in different ways considering the specific conditions for which they have been designed. The 75 is a great side-shore wave, while the 85 is an aggressive board more adaptable to the European conditions with a very wide range of action. It expresses its big potential both in on-shore conditions and in side conditions. We decided for a trim with two US fin boxes behind for the larger fins and two Mini Tuttle fin boxes for the forward fins. The fins (built in G10) have been designed and tested in cooperation with Gas Fins to provide maximum performance. The custom finish construction of the board will provide a weight saving of approximately 300g. The Quad trim enables formidable slope angles and very tight radius of curvature which dig real tracks in the waves in surfing. If you want to use the Twinzer trim closing the forward fin boxes and taking larger fins (not given), the board will take a more skate style slipping more on the tail. Due to the good feedbacks collected during the 2011 season we decided to keep Quad shapes unchanged for 2012 but we wanted to give them a new eye-chatching graphic to highlight its aggressive style.
